MorseLight
Send and read Morse code with your phone.
Type a message and your phone flashes it in Morse. Point the camera at a flashing light, or let it hear beeps, and Blink the firefly reads the message back. Morse School teaches you to read it yourself.
Coming soon to Google Play, then the App Store.

What it does
Send
Type a message and it prints as Morse on paper tape. Send it with the torch, the screen, a beep or a buzz, at 5 to 40 words a minute. Hold the button to repeat SOS.
Catch
Point the camera at a flashing light, or switch to Sound to listen for a Morse tone. Blink shows the sender's speed and marks any letters it isn't sure about.
Morse School
Forty short levels using the Koch method. You hear each letter at full speed from the start, by light or by sound. Score 90% to add the next letter.
Free
MorseLight is free. There are no ads, no account and no subscription.
Privacy
- The camera and microphone are only used while you're catching.
- Camera frames and sound are checked in memory, then discarded. Nothing is recorded.
- The Android app has no internet permission.
- There's no account and no analytics.
Safety notice
SOS only flashes a signal. It doesn't call anyone. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Fast flashing can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. MorseLight uses soft flashes by default and warns you before the screen flashes more than 3 times a second.
