Why does SnoreFox need the microphone?

To hear snores. Audio is processed on your phone and is never uploaded. The Android app has no internet permission.

It stopped listening during the night

Some phones close apps to save battery. When SnoreFox asks, allow it to ignore battery optimisation, and keep the "Ember is listening" notification switched on. On some brands you may also need to allow background activity in the phone's battery settings.

It counted a sound that wasn't me

Open the clip and tap "Not you?". SnoreFox learns from this on your phone and gets better at ignoring that sound.

How do I restore Forever Den on a new phone?

Sign in to the same Google Play account, open More in SnoreFox and tap Restore purchase.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases are made through Google Play, so refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy. You can request one from your Google Play order history.

How do I delete my data?

Open More and tap Delete everything, or uninstall the app. See Delete your data for details.

Can SnoreFox tell me if I have sleep apnoea?

No. SnoreFox is a wellness app, not a medical device. If you're worried about your sleep or breathing, talk to a doctor.
